Background

I'm currently pursuing a B.Tech in Engineering at Jadavpur University, having secured my seat with a GMR of 1967 in WBJEE 2026. My path here was built on a consistently strong academic foundation — I scored 97.6% in my ICSE boards (Class 10, St. Stephen's School) and 85% in my CBSE boards (Class 12, Bhavans Gangabux Kanoriya Vidyamandir). Alongside boards, I prepared for JEE Mains 2026, where I achieved an overall 96.15 percentile and a standout 99.2+ percentile specifically in Physics — reflecting where my deepest academic interest lies.

Experience & Strengths

Physics has been the subject I've gravitated toward most, not just as a scorer but as a solver — I enjoy breaking down complex problems into their underlying principles rather than memorizing formulas. That strength naturally extended into teaching: I've regularly tutored classmates, helping them work through concepts they found difficult, which sharpened both my communication skills and my own understanding (the best way to know if you've really understood something is to explain it to someone else).

Between rigorous exam preparation (juggling boards and competitive entrance exams simultaneously) and peer mentoring, I've built habits of discipline, analytical thinking, and patience — the kind that come from repeatedly troubleshooting problems, whether in a physics equation or in someone else's confusion about one.

Looking Ahead

Now at Jadavpur University, I'm looking to carry that same problem-solving mindset and teaching instinct into engineering — applying scientific fundamentals to more hands-on, real-world challenges, while continuing to build on my communication and mentoring experience
