CMA Soumen Roy

I teach Finance, Accountancy, Costing, Commerce, and Organisation & Management to students across multiple academic levels. My teaching journey spans from Class IX and X to Class XI and XII (across all boards including ICSE and ISC), and I also train MBA students in subjects like Finance, Costing, and Accountancy. Working with such a diverse group of learners has helped me understand different learning needs and tailor my approach accordingly.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and am a qualified Cost Accountant. This professional qualification has provided me with a strong foundation in core financial concepts, enabling me to guide students not just academically but also with a deeper understanding of practical applications.

Over the years, I have gained valuable teaching experience with Sikkim Manipal University (Distance Education), along with several years of conducting private tuition classes. These experiences have helped me refine my teaching style and develop methods that make even complex topics easier to grasp.

Alongside my teaching career, I am actively working in a corporate role. This allows me to bring real-world industry insights into my classes, helping students connect theoretical concepts with practical scenarios. I strongly believe that this blend of academic and professional exposure adds significant value to the learning process.

I conduct both online and offline classes, offering flexibility based on students’ preferences and requirements. I work with both individual students and small groups, ensuring that each learner receives proper attention and guidance, whether they are at the school level or pursuing an MBA.

My teaching approach is structured, practical, and student-focused. I follow well-planned lessons and focus on making concepts clear through real-life examples and interactive discussions. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate so that learning becomes engaging and effective.

To support my students further, I provide my own study materials, including detailed notes, reference content, assignments, and practice tests. These resources are designed to strengthen understanding, improve problem-solving skills, and help students perform confidently in their exams.
