Bikash Chandra Thakur

I teach Physics to Class 11 and Class 12 students, with a strong focus on conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and examination preparation. I have around 15 years of teaching experience, during which I have worked extensively with senior secondary students preparing for both academic and competitive examinations. My aim is to help students understand Physics deeply rather than simply memorize formulas or methods.

I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), which has given me a strong technical foundation and helped me develop a structured approach towards understanding and explaining Physics concepts. My academic background, combined with my extensive teaching experience, allows me to explain complex topics in a logical and approachable manner.

Over the course of my career, I have taught Class 11 and 12 students at reputed coaching institutes, including Aakash Institute in Delhi and Kolkata, where I worked for 10 years. I also worked with FIITJEE for 2 years. These experiences have given me exposure to different types of learners and examination patterns and have strengthened my ability to prepare students for demanding competitive examinations.

One of the achievements I am particularly proud of is helping more than 1,000 students secure ranks in NEET and more than 1,000 students secure ranks in IIT-JEE under my guidance. These experiences have reinforced my belief that strong fundamentals and consistent practice are the foundation of success in Physics. I take particular pride in helping students become confident enough to approach unfamiliar numerical problems independently.

My teaching methodology is concept-based and student-friendly. I follow a structured lesson plan for every topic and begin by ensuring that students understand the underlying concept before moving towards applications and problem-solving. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and practise different types of numerical problems so that they develop both accuracy and confidence.

I also place strong emphasis on regular practice and examination-oriented preparation. Physics can become much easier when students understand how to connect concepts, formulas, diagrams, and numerical applications. I therefore work on improving their problem-solving approach and help them gradually handle questions of increasing difficulty.

I offer both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to make lessons more organised and interactive. My goal is to make Physics understandable, practical, and engaging while preparing students to face school examinations and competitive entrance examinations with confidence.
