Rated chess player and chess coach with experience teaching children and beginners. I have helped beginner players develop their fundamentals and work towards their first standard rating. I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players, with lessons adapted to their individual goals.

My classes can cover chess fundamentals, tactics, calculation, strategy, opening principles, middlegame planning, endgames, game analysis and tournament preparation. I focus on developing a student's thinking process rather than simply memorising openings or moves.

I regularly participate in rated tournaments and recently played in the 1st KDCA Rapid Rating Tournament – Independence Cup 2026. AICF ID: 400426WB2026.

My background as a professional mentor and instructor in filmmaking and photography has also helped me develop a patient and structured teaching approach.
