I teach Art and Craft to students of all age groups at UrbanPro. My expertise spans across diverse artistic disciplines such as Drawing, Portraits, Acrylic, Oil and Watercolour Paintings, Mandala Art, Charcoal Art, Creative and Abstract Art, Commercial Art, Art History, Art Aesthetics, Graphics, and Printmaking. I also conduct Art Camps and provide foundational Art training for children, nurturing creativity and artistic curiosity from an early age. For me, teaching art is about building both technical skills and the confidence to express freely.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Visva-Bharati University and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where I was honoured with the Gold Medal for academic and creative excellence. These academic experiences gave me a solid foundation in fine arts, exposed me to varied approaches to creativity, and shaped my journey as both an artist and a teacher.

In addition to my degrees, I have qualified the UGC-NET in Fine Arts, which reflects my deep commitment to the academic and research-oriented side of visual arts. Over the years, I have also been recognized with the prestigious National Academy Award by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. These achievements have been milestones in my journey, reinforcing the value of dedication and passion in pursuing art at both professional and personal levels.

With more than 7 years of teaching experience, I design my sessions to suit the unique learning styles of every student. I believe that no two learners are alike, and their artistic journeys should reflect their individuality. Whether it is a beginner exploring art for the first time or an advanced student refining their skills, I provide guidance that balances technique with creative exploration.

One of my greatest honours was receiving the National Award in Graphic Art from the Government of India, a recognition that affirmed my contribution to the field of visual arts. Another milestone in my career was being selected for an international artist residency in Europe. This opportunity allowed me to collaborate with global artists, experience cross-cultural artistic practices, and further enrich my own creative perspective.

I currently conduct online classes, making my sessions accessible to students across geographies. My focus remains on encouraging creativity, building strong fundamentals, and guiding learners to find their own artistic voice. Teaching, for me, is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about inspiring confidence, imagination, and a lifelong appreciation of art.
