I am a Microbiology (Bachelor's) and Molecular biology (Master's) graduate, with two years of experience in advanced biological sciences res. Both the courses that I pursued happened to be interdisciplinary courses, which covered an umbrella of topics ranging from core microbiology to genetics, and ecology to spectroscopy. I have received hands-on training in the biochemical and microbiological techniques, and got to be a part of biochemistry and toxicology projects during my academic career. Besides this, I have had the chance to speak at intra-departmental as well as national-level seminars about advanced topics concerning my subject, which required me to read and develop knowledge on topics beyond the syllabus, thus helping me strengthen my subject base. During my stint as a research student, the topic of my research was concerned with the genetic and epigenetic basis of autoimmune disorders. Since 2014, I have worked as a science writer and subject matter expert, posting solutions to several advanced level questions concerning my area of expertise. I have also been involved in tutoring advanced biology to undergraduate as well as high school students, which gives me the chance to stay in touch with the fundamentals of my subject. Due to my academic and research background, I have been extremely well-versed with different disciplines under the biological sciences for a decade, which I believe has imparted in me the potential and confidence to teach biological sciences
