My name is Mohit Jacob, and I am an aspiring tutor with a strong background and experience in economics. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Economics, building upon my Bachelor's degree in BA Economics from MG University, which I successfully completed from 2020 to 2023.

During my academic journey, I have developed a deep understanding of economic principles and concepts, allowing me to provide comprehensive and insightful guidance to students. My coursework has equipped me with skills in economic analysis, scrutiny, and market research. I have honed my ability to analyze data and apply it to real-world scenarios, enabling me to provide practical examples and case studies to enhance students' understanding.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have gained valuable practical experience through internships and virtual experience programs. As a Business Analyst intern at HawksCode, I conducted extensive market research, analyzed emerging trends, and developed effective business strategies to optimize revenue and expand the customer base. This experience has equipped me with the ability to relate economic theories to practical business scenarios, providing students with a holistic understanding of economics in a professional context.

Furthermore, my involvement in virtual experience programs at JP Morgan and PWC in Global Finance & Business Management and Management Consulting, respectively, has broadened my knowledge and exposed me to various aspects of the corporate world. These programs have enhanced my problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and understanding of global financial dynamics, making me well-rounded in both theoretical and practical aspects of economics.

Moreover, I have pursued several courses and certifications to enhance my knowledge and expertise. I have completed courses such as Foundations of Project Management and Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, offered by Google. Additionally, I am currently pursuing the Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies program at Harvard University and The Global Financial Crisis program at Yale University, further enriching my understanding of economics in different contexts.

Apart from my academic and professional endeavors, I have actively engaged in extracurricular activities that have developed my leadership, communication, and organizational skills. As a student volunteer at the SMART INDIA HACKATHON, I managed and organized tasks, supervised participants, and provided technical assistance. This experience has honed my interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team, skills that are crucial in tutoring and mentoring students effectively.

Furthermore, I co-founded the UG LITERARY CLUB, where I fostered a love for literature among students and organized various events to promote literary engagement. As an event coordinator for AROHA, my responsibilities included managing a photography event and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. These experiences have enhanced my event management and team-building skills, allowing me to create an engaging and interactive learning environment for students.

Additionally, my experience as the Lead Volunteer for Intellectual Property awareness at the BRITISH COUNCIL and as a student delegate at KERMUN (UNHRC) has strengthened my leadership, communication, and advocacy skills.
