It's a great experience. I have completed a months internship in a government senior secondary school where I learned so many things like discipline to teaching style. Teaching in a school has been one of the most enriching and transformative experiences of my life. As part of my B.Ed. training and later through temporary teaching assignments, I had the opportunity to work in both government and private schools, where I taught students from various backgrounds and age groups.My journey began with a government upper primary school during my internship period. I was assigned to teach science and general knowledge to students of classes 6 to 8. The first few days were both exciting and challenging. I had to manage classroom discipline, build rapport with students, and deliver lessons. I also had the opportunity to participate in school functions, morning assemblies, and awareness campaigns. These activities helped me understand the school culture and the role a teacher plays beyond classroom teaching. I learned to maintain records, prepare lesson plans, and conduct assessments, which added to my professional growth.
