I am a self taught guitar player, with the help of youtube, webpages, tutorials etc. it was quite adventures learning all by yourself but exhausting and intricate as well.
I would suggest you to have a tutor first, for at least 3 month then you can learn on your own. Until you find your own genre/style or when you want to step in advance guitar.

Hitting Few chords is easy but the real thing comes from heart. The theory of guitar and music, the logic behind everything
