Tony Ndege Agunga

During my time at the University of Nairobi, I had the opportunity to teach and mentor undergraduate medical students in both pre-clinical and clinical stages of their training. My role involved delivering lectures, facilitating small-group tutorials, guiding students through case-based discussions, and supervising clinical rotations. I covered a range of subjects including anatomy, physiology, pathology, internal medicine, and surgery, with a focus on helping students integrate theoretical knowledge with practical clinical skills. In addition to academic instruction, I assisted students in preparing for their professional qualifying exams by developing targeted revision plans and conducting mock assessments. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, clinical relevance, and active engagement, aiming to make complex medical concepts more understandable and applicable to real-world practice. I take pride in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop a strong foundation in medicine.
