During my school internship as part of my B.Sc. B.Ed. program, I had the opportunity to gain practical teaching experience in a real classroom environment. I observed experienced teachers, learned classroom management strategies, and gradually took responsibility for conducting lessons on my own. I planned and delivered mathematics lessons tailored to the learning level of students, used teaching aids like charts and activities to explain concepts, and encouraged student participation through interactive questioning. This experience helped me develop confidence in public speaking, improve my lesson planning and time management skills, and understand the importance of adapting teaching methods to suit different learners. Apart from teaching, I also participated in co-curricular activities, assisted in organizing events, and maintained student records. Overall, the internship gave me valuable insights into the role of a teacher, strengthened my communication skills, and motivated me to continue improving as an educator.
