Anand is by far the best math tutor I’ve ever had throughout my academic career. Ever since I was a child, I’ve required some assistance to reach my full potential in the subject - even now, as I pursue an undergraduate science degree, math is still not my strong suit and I require additional help. With Anand’s tutoring, I achieved the highest final grade in a math course that I’ve ever gotten since starting university. More importantly, because of Anand, I fully understood the entire content of a math course for the first time since I was a child. My success is owed to Anand’s commitment to me as his student, his encouragement, and his abilities as a mathematician and teacher. Anand took hours of his time to read and study my textbook for each session, and taught me the entirety of my course material in an engaging and productive manner. He was very thorough, explained concepts well, and walked me through solutions when I needed help. When my practice exam papers didn’t have worked solutions, he was kind enough to solve every paper in full and provide me with a worked solution bank to reference as I prepared for my tests. Anand never hesitated to encourage me and remind me that I am capable, and it really helped to boost my confidence in my abilities. I always felt as though he truly believed in me, and wanted to see my succeed. He was also empathetic towards my circumstances, and understood that I had limits - if I ever expressed that I was exhausted after work and couldn’t.
