A piece of advice, make sure you converse enough while learning French. If Alliance Français de Delhi is offering to prepare for TEF, that will be great because Alliance focuses on overall comprehension of French language. You might be able to score enough points in TEF after B1, but I would advise prepare until B2.
Reason is French being a foreign language requires everyday study and comprehension (reading, writing, listening, speaking ). A1 and A2 regular are 3 months each , B1 and B2 regular are 6 months each.
