Devanshi A.

I'm a second-year Bachelor of Technology student at PSIT, Kanpur, currently building a strong foundation in core STEM subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. I completed my Class 12 in the Science stream with a first division, and I was the topper of my Class 10 batch with an aggregate of 95%, including a near-perfect score of 99 out of 100 in English. Alongside my academic record, I've developed strong communication skills through active participation in school and college-level speeches and debate competitions, which gives me the confidence to explain ideas clearly and think on my feet. I'm fluent in both English and Hindi, so I can teach comfortably in whichever language a student is most comfortable with.

Experience

For the past one to two years, I've worked as a home tutor for neighbourhood children at the primary level, teaching foundational Math, Science, and English on a consistent basis. In this role, I planned simple, age-appropriate lessons to keep young learners engaged, tracked each child's individual progress, and adjusted my teaching pace to suit their needs. I also built trust with parents by maintaining consistency and communicating progress regularly, which has given me real, hands-on exposure to what effective one-on-one teaching requires. On top of this, I've informally tutored classmates and family members in STEM concepts and helped them improve their English writing and speaking skills, which has further sharpened my ability to break down complex topics into simple, relatable explanations.
