Basically, I've been working in the company secretarial world for 2 years now making sure the company follows all the rules, helping with board meetings, dealing with the paperwork]. I've gotten pretty good at understanding how companies are supposed to be run and all the legal bits and pieces that go with it.
Right now, I'm also doing my LLB, which is actually helping me see a lot of the company law stuff from a different angle – like understanding the "why" behind the rules, not just the "what."
Even though I'm still studying law, I've always enjoyed explaining things to people. I'm really keen on sharing what I know about being a company secretary and making it easy for students to grasp. I think my practical experience, combined with what I'm learning in my LLB, would be a really helpful mix for teaching.
