My advanced knowledge of Neuroscience & Molecular Biology, enhanced by a solid background in Biotechnology have blended into a unique skill set which can be utilized in various sectors with equal success. Due to my progressive experience of almost 4 years in the field of Neurosciences, Molecular Biology, Immunology, and Genetics, I understand the critical link between Industry & academia.

I am fluent in 3 languages, have resided in 3 countries, and traveled to over 15, being continuously exposed to different cultures and as a result building up my ability to easily relate to diverse populations and perform well in multicultural environments.

A few years ago, I decided to expand my professional horizons and started work as a Research Assistant at the Department of Molecular Biology and Translational Medicine at the University of Brescia. My aim was to deepen the understanding of animal and cell models and learn to apply my laboratory expertise into the reasoning of the occurrence of different diseases, improving life quality on the individual and social level.

KEY PROJECTS AND RESULTS:
- Developed an efficient knockout and knockdown model of c19orf12a in zebrafish by CRISPR-Cas9 and Morpholino approach.
- Successfully identified the brain region responsible for fear response and depression in chickens.
- Single-handedly degraded the lignocellulosic biomass with the help of a Parr Reactor to determine the concentration of HMC present.
- Obtained extensive knowledge in Genetics, Micro Biology, and Animal models by participating in several conferences and symposiums across Europe.

My rich international experience in Neuroscience and Molecular Biology combined with my academic achievements has helped me become a well-rounded professional capable to solve industrial, research, and academic problems for individuals and institutions.
