Tejas Tayade

I’m an engineer by training and a teacher by passion. After completing my B.Tech from IIT Madras and my Master’s from Columbia University, I worked in the manufacturing industry where I honed my analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Over time, I realized I found far more meaning in helping others learn than in corporate life—so I shifted my focus fully to teaching.

I specialize in teaching Math, Logic, Physics, Chemistry and TOEFL exam prep to students from middle school up to college level, as well as GRE and competitive exam aspirants. My teaching style is simple: break down complex ideas into clear, intuitive concepts that actually stick. I prioritize conceptual clarity, not rote learning, and I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style.

Whether it’s helping a 10th grader build confidence in Physics, or coaching someone to ace the TOEFL and unlock study-abroad dreams, I find deep fulfillment in seeing students grow. I mostly teach online, but I’m open to in-person sessions near my location.
