Background and Experience

I am a Registered Nurse with experience in pediatric nursing and hospital-based patient care. I currently work as a Staff Nurse in the Pediatric Surgery Department at a tertiary care teaching hospital, where I provide comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with surgical and medical conditions.

My responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, intravenous therapy, wound and ostomy care, infection prevention and control, preoperative and postoperative nursing care, health education for patients and caregivers, emergency response, documentation, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. I also have experience in pediatric emergency care, family-centered care, and patient safety practices.

In addition to my clinical work, I actively participate in nursing education by developing evidence-based teaching materials, conducting patient and caregiver education sessions, and creating educational content for nursing students and healthcare professionals. I have experience in nursing research, data collection, literature review, and preparing research proposals related to pediatric healthcare and nursing practice.
