Identity
I hail from Jammu and Kashmir and have had the honor of representing my state numerous times as a chess player. I have participated in major international chess tournaments such as the Commonwealth Championships in 2007 and 2008, the Sri Lanka Open, and the Dubai Open. I am also a certified FIDE instructor.
With over 15 years of coaching experience, I have worked as a chess coach across various states in India and in Dubai. Most of my students are FIDE-rated or quickly achieve their FIDE ratings. Notably, one of my students was ranked world No. 1 in the under-7 age category, and another was ranked world No. 13 in the FIDE list of 2022 for the under-7 age category.
My coaching philosophy emphasizes supporting players in conducting their own research to maximize their learning. This approach is fundamental to my work with any chess player.
