I have been teaching Math and Science at various grade levels (6-10) since 2007. I came to join an International School in Bali in the year 2013 and have since been here. I was appointed as the MYP coordinator in January 2015 and have since worked in this capacity with success. Teaching to me is a rewarding experience in itself as one feels satisfied as having made the difference in so many young and impressionable minds. Teaching provides us the platform to act as role models for our students and this is the best part that I personally like being a teacher. My teaching style is flexible that meets the requirement at a particular moment and gives a balance in the use of technology in classroom lecture. Being from the International School of Educators (environment) , I believe in providing conceptual understanding of a topic being taught and give utmost importance to prior knowledge the student has regarding the topic being presently addressed. I have always been a good student myself in school and my favorite subjects have been Math and the Sciences. These have continued to be my favorite subjects. The needs of young children , adolescents and teenagers are different and dealing with the different age groups give us vistas of learning experiences. All-in-all every individual student is at an impressionable age and this fact should always be inherently embedded in each educators mind.

Mr. Vijay Vardhan is known to me for over two years now, ever since I joined him here at his present school.
