Work Experience:
• Working successfully as a professional artist, designer and art tutor. Since 1997, running an Art institute and a studio and preparing candidates aspiring for Architecture & design colleges.(NID, NIFT, NATA, JEE B.Arch etc)
• Conducted art camps and workshops jointly with Camlin & Dainik Bhaskar.
• Organised art camp on World Environment Day on June 5, 2015 at ITC Rajputana, Jaipur
• Held art workshop for Women’s Club, June 26, 2015 at ITC Rajputana, Jaipur
• Classmate Product launch (Oil Pastels), Demo and workshop for Art teachers, Organised by Classmate Art Academy and ITC Rajputana, Jaipur
• Member of Progressive Artists’ Group, Jaipur Association of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Group, Jaipur Jaipur Women Mentors’ Forum

Professionally painting, teaching and lecturing since 1997, she has been in consistent conversation with colours and their various moods. Her experience so far has been her mentor and she has gathered an immense pool of knowledge by tutoring others. She prepares candidates aspiring for design and architecture colleges, both in India and abroad, and provides vocational training in the field of art. In association with Camlin, Dainik Bhaskar and All India Council for Child Welfare, she has held art competitions and art camps to promote art amongst the masses.
Surbhi has been dividing her attention between various solo shows, group shows and developing murals for interior design projects. She has had her works displayed in prominent places in India and London. She has won many awards like Agnipath All India Art Competition (Gold Medal), Women Achievers’ Award and her art works have been selected for Raja Ravi Verma Award, NDMC All India Art Competition and several others.
Apart from using canvases to converse with colours, she paints on fabric items such as sarees, suits, scarves in organic materials like chiffon, georgette, silk, cotton etc.
