IdentityI am Rekha Kanwar, an experienced educator with over 15 years of teaching students from Nursery to 5th grade. I hold an MA in English and a BA degree, along with Nursery Teaching Training (NTT), which has provided me with a solid foundation in early childhood education. My passion for teaching began many years ago, and I am deeply committed to nurturing young minds and helping them build a strong educational foundation.
I have been running my own school for the past 10 years, catering to students from pre-kindergarten to 5th grade. Before establishing my school, I gained experience as a school teacher in Chandigarh, where I worked with children across various age groups. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring hundreds of young learners, helping them develop a love for learning while focusing on their individual needs and potential.
In addition to my school, I have been offering both home and online tuition for students. This has allowed me to extend my teaching expertise to a wider audience and support students who need extra attention outside the traditional classroom setting. My teaching approach is centered on creating a supportive and interactive environment, where students are encouraged to actively engage with the content and express their thoughts freely.
I teach all subjects for students in Nursery to 5th grade, with a strong focus on building foundational skills, particularly in phonics, which I believe is essential for early reading and writing development. My sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to suit the diverse learning styles of my students. I use a mix of storytelling, activities, and hands-on learning to make concepts easy to grasp and enjoyable for young learners.
For my online and offline sessions, I ensure that each class lasts for about 1 hour. During this time, I work with students to build their confidence and knowledge in various subjects. My primary aim is to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of the topics, while also fostering a sense of curiosity and a love for learning. I believe that learning should be a fun and fulfilling experience, which is why I prioritize student engagement in every session.
To support my students further, I provide notes that reinforce the concepts taught during our lessons. These notes help students review what they've learned and practice at home. As an educator, I am dedicated to the academic and personal growth of my students, and I look forward to continuing my journey in shaping the future of many more young minds.
