As a passionate educator with seven years of experience, an MBA in Education, and a strong inclination towards teaching, I have had the opportunity to work at NVA School, which currently provides online tuition.
My areas of expertise include teaching all subjects to students from first to fifth grade, as well as nursery to kindergarten, and geography to students in 8th to tenth grade. My online teaching sessions typically last two hours and are designed to be interactive, engaging, and effective in helping students grasp the concepts.
One of the critical tools I use during my online teaching sessions is PowerPoint (PPT) presentations. I create visually appealing slides with relevant content, images, and diagrams to enhance my students' learning experience. In addition to PPTs, I also conduct tests to evaluate my students' understanding. These tests are carefully designed to assess their comprehension and application of the concepts taught during the sessions. I provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance and excel in their studies.
Apart from tests, I also provide comprehensive notes to my students. I ensure that the notes are concise, organised, and easy to comprehend so that students can refer to them as a quick reference guide while studying independently. Furthermore, I believe in making the learning process enjoyable. I use various teaching techniques, such as storytelling, role-playing, and group discussions, to keep my students engaged and interested in the subject. I encourage students to ask questions, express their opinions, and share their thoughts, fostering a positive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident to participate.
