I have taught Biotechnology Engineering students of the first and second year at Ambala College. The subjects that I taught were bioreactor design and bioprocess engineering, wherein I taught the aspects of designing a bioreactor for the growth and cultivation of microorganisms. I also conducted experiments to demonstrate the role of microbiology in our daily lives and how we can culture bacteria from soil, food, and water samples. Apart from that, the other aspect of my teaching assignment was to monitor the research projects of students in the field of bioprocessing, wherein the students were learning how to exploit recombinant bacteria for producing antibiotics and protein therapeutics. All my students performed very well and also gave me good reviews in their annual assessment forms.
