Akash Kumar Ranjan

I am Akash Kumar Ranjan, currently pursuing a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Cyber Security at Jaipur National University. I completed my Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) with a strong academic record and have built a strong foundation in software development, cybersecurity, and computer science.

Professionally, I have worked as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Thrinax, where I gained hands-on experience in web application development, backend integration, database management, debugging, and collaborative software development.

I have also worked on technology-related assignments with Rajasthan Police, providing technical support and contributing to IT-related activities in a professional environment. In addition, I have experience working with schools, where I supported computer education and academic activities, and I have served as a private tutor, teaching computer science and other subjects while helping students strengthen their conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

My technical skills include Java, Kotlin, C, C++, Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, jQuery, React, MySQL, and Git/GitHub. I continue to expand my expertise by learning modern programming languages, frameworks, and secure development practices.

In cybersecurity, I actively study and practice network security, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, digital forensics, incident response, EDR/XDR technologies, and security operations. I have hands-on experience with tools such as Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Shodan, Maltego, OWASP ZAP, SpiderFoot, and OpenVAS, and I regularly participate in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges to enhance my practical security skills.

I have developed several software projects, including responsive web applications, authentication systems, music streaming platforms, and other full-stack applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and React. I also have experience deploying applications using GitHub and Netlify.

In addition to development and cybersecurity, I have contributed to academic research and have two published research papers, reflecting my interest in innovation, applied research, and emerging technologies.

My career objective is to build a successful career in cybersecurity, specializing in threat detection, incident response, secure software development, and cyber defense while continuously improving my technical expertise through research, certifications, and real-world experience.
