Akanksha S.

I teach Candle Making and Clay Modeling, with a focus on helping students develop practical creative skills through hands-on learning. I have 5 years of experience in teaching and enjoy working with students who want to explore creativity, learn a new craft, or develop their skills for personal and professional purposes. My classes are designed to be practical, engaging, and easy to follow, with step-by-step guidance throughout the learning process.

I have completed my Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), which has also helped me understand areas such as planning, product development, presentation, and building a creative business. Along with my academic background, I am a professional candle maker and the founder of an artisanal home fragrance brand. My experience of creating and developing products gives me a practical perspective that I bring into my teaching.

In Candle Making, I specialize in creating clean-burning soy wax candles, wax sachets, and decorative home fragrances. I guide students through the different stages of the process, from understanding materials and selecting suitable waxes and fragrances to working with moulds, colours, designs, and finishing techniques. I believe that understanding the process properly is important for students who want to create good-quality products consistently.

My teaching also focuses on helping students understand the practical aspects behind creative products rather than simply following a particular design. I share my hands-on experience with product creation, techniques, presentation, and finishing so that students can build confidence in working independently. Whether someone is learning candle making as a hobby or wants to explore it as a creative business opportunity, I try to make the sessions relevant to their individual goals.

I also teach Clay Modeling, where students can explore their creativity while learning different techniques for shaping and designing clay-based creations. I encourage students to experiment with forms, textures, details, and decorative elements while developing better control and confidence. My approach is patient and practical, allowing students to learn at their own pace and gradually improve their creative skills.

With 5 years of experience in candle making and creative crafts, I bring real-world practical knowledge into my classes. My experience as a professional candle maker and brand founder allows me to explain techniques from the perspective of someone who actively works with these crafts. I enjoy sharing the practical lessons I have gained through creating products and working with different creative ideas.

I offer both online and offline classes and adapt my teaching based on the student's experience level, interests, and learning objectives. I aim to create an environment where students can comfortably ask questions, practise techniques, and develop their own creative style. My goal is to help every student gain practical knowledge, confidence, and the skills needed to continue creating independently.
