Freshers have already studied basics of C, C++ and Java as part of their curriculum. Industry's expectation from a fresher is not how many technologies he/she knows rather how good their basic concepts are (on these programming languages, data structure, logic etc.).

Python in the no. 1 language for machine learning and AI right now. If you like systems programming or Robotics (Kernels, Operating Systems, Embedded Sytems) learn C or Rust.
