Is there any software which has similar functionalities of MS Excel & MS Access? If yes what edge does it have over those 2? Is Qlik sense or Qlik view compete with these two?

Your comparison depends on what kind of functionality you looking for. In response to your question on Qlikview, it is a proprietary based Business Intelligence platform and solution built by qliktech. It has all the features and functionality to fulfill an organization business intelligence mission critical activity. With respect to competition, qlikview is a decision making application software whereas excel is a traditional way of doing operational activities. Features like enterprise wide distribution, security, managed reports features are not available in ms excel. If you could elaborate more on your requirement then I would be in a better position to suggest you something more relevant. read less

Hi Guru, We believe that R program has more structured and rich library for Statistical analysis in addition to Data management and preparation. Qlik sense and Qlik view are mostly used for visualization and reporting. Hope this is useful. Regards, Hemal
