A lot of developers aren't using Swift yet, it's still a very new language, however many people have tried it out in their personal projects. Due it being so new, many of the bugs or problems you might run up against you will be the first to face (and hopefully solve!) So if you're on a tight deadline or budget, I wouldn't recommend using Swift for it. However as more and more people try Swift for their projects, they are blogging about their experience and sharing it online. I would recommend following their experiences and learning from it/testing in your personal projects! Many more people are using Swift now than September 2014 but it's certainly not most developers.. read less
