IdentityI hold a post graduate degree in Life Sciences with a CGPA of 7.50 on a scale of 10.During my masters program I worked on a project entitled "Effect of vitamin A on cytokine production in leprosy patients with reactions." This project was intended to investigate the levels of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines after treating the leprosy patients (with reactions) with Vitamin A. As a part of this project I learned various techniques such as isolation of lymphocytes from blood, lymphocyte transformation test, ELISA and also got an exposure to FACS It was concluded that vitamin A supplementation has great benefits as it helped in acceleration of the clinical improvement of patients and also increased the serum conc. of IL-10 which act as an anti-inflammatory cytokine and thus prevents the tissue damage .
After completion of my Masters degree, I took up a lecturer position at Dept. of Biotechnology, IPS College, Indore, India. Teaching has always fascinated me because I consider it as one of the most respectable and prestigious professions. My job responsibilities include teaching Immunology, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Fermentation technology to Under graduate and Postgraduate students, and experiments related to these subjects. I hold a command on all the subjects related to Biology. I would be more than happy if my teaching can make a positive difference to students life.
