Which instrument is best for Riyaz, Harmonium or Tanpura?

Answer 
Both are good but if you want to correct your notes you should prefer harmonium. Also it is used in early stage of your learning.

Harmonium gives one the notes of the melody. Tanpura gives the reference for the Sadhjam and Panchamam for the melody scale used.
