I would like to take up a degree in carnatic music(B.A or so). Can somebody please tell where I can take up such exams? Preferably in Bangalore or any distance education course

You can do degree in SV MUSIC COLLEGE in Tirupathi, I don't know in Banglore.

In north "Prayag Sangit Samiti" in allahabad is famous for digree in hindustani music (sangit prabhakar and sangit pravin).I think to take up a degree in carnatic music Bangalore is better.

Watch out for advertisement/s during the mid-year. There will be lot of Universities announcing Degree courses in Music (direct or correspondence). You can choose any of them and pursue your course. Hello Ishaan...I think you are having problem because there are jumping notes. Re and Pa are not used in this Raaga so, take the SapaT as you take simple ChhuT Taans. And try to keep the Daanas even. You will improve I'm sure. Best of luck!
