Sharan

I am an ex-serviceman who worked in the Army and retired as a Major with a vast experience of 13 years post-MBBS. I served 6 years in the Army, 3 years in post-graduation in ophthalmology, and the remaining time in various appointments at corporate sectors. I have experience in managing medical and surgical emergencies, administration, and high-altitude medicine. As an ophthalmology resident, I worked in a tertiary centre with a wide exposure to broad specialties like Cornea, Glaucoma, and Retina. I have significant exposure to updated, present-day technology and all modern instruments for therapy and diagnosis in ophthalmology, along with exposure to a variety of patients. My surgical experience includes managing emergencies like trauma, regular Phacoemulsification, ECCE, SICS, Pterygium excision, and CXL surgeries. I have also assisted with all types of keratoplasties, pars plana vitrectomy, scleral buckling, glaucoma filtration surgeries (augmented trabeculectomy), and MIGS. I am happy to teach undergraduates with simple concepts. There is no need to memorize; just clear your concepts with me.
