Souvik Moitra

I am a Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience across financial analysis, credit underwriting, credit appraisal, risk assessment, banking operations, and data-driven decision-making. I currently work at Genpact, supporting global banking and financial institution clients across the US and Canada through financial and non-financial analysis, due diligence, KYC verification, credit risk assessment, financial statement analysis, and regulatory compliance.

A key strength of my professional profile is my French language proficiency. I serve as a French language resource within my current project, supporting business communication, documentation, report validation, and client-related requirements in both English and French. This combination of finance, analytics, and French language skills enables me to contribute effectively in multilingual and international business environments.

Previously, I worked as a Deputy Credit Manager at HDFC Bank, where I handled retail and SME credit proposals, credit underwriting, financial analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.

I hold an MBA in finance and a B.Com in Computers and am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Data Science. My key technical skills include advanced Excel, Power BI, financial modelling, data analysis and visualization, credit analytics, and financial statement analysis. My multidisciplinary background in finance, data science, banking, and French allows me to combine analytical expertise with effective cross-cultural communication.
