Both are professional courses, equally properous & competent but complete different.
Which path to choose depends on once passion & capabilities.
Btech: solve real life day to day problems with Inventions & ensuring they are meeting the require criteria with good technical capabilities.
MBA: Mostly attributed to get the things (group, work place, industry etc) organised, make process oriented & streamlined to make things more visible and easy to get to the end product & ship to the customer i.e., Administration

As a first step calm your mind, erase backlogs from your mind & understand the concepts you are going to study will help you in your professional career & remain with you for life.
As an engineer you are supposed to solve real life problems that makes others life easy in future.
Enjoy the time spent with your books , these are not tough just that you did not focus your mind enough before. All the cool stuff you hang out with have originated from an engineers mind. So aspire to be part of this group.
To answer you queation, exams are just a part of the learning process to judge your ability of understanding. So when you understand the concepts it's very simple.
If you find difficulty in understanding the concepts seek help from mentors, faculty or hire a teacher & put your best efforts.
All the best, wish you have a bright future brother.
