Shalom Jeedi

I teach drums and have been training students in rhythm and percussion for over 4 years. Through my classes, I help learners of different skill levels develop strong fundamentals in drumming, including rhythm control, coordination, and performance techniques. My goal is to make learning drums both enjoyable and structured so that students can steadily improve their musical abilities.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree and have also earned a certification from Trinity College London related to drums and music education. This certification has strengthened my technical understanding of percussion and has helped me guide students effectively in both practical performance and music examinations.

As a music teacher and drums facilitator, I focus on developing rhythm, musical expression, and performance skills in my students. I have experience working with the IB MYP curriculum, which has given me exposure to structured music education that emphasizes creativity, appreciation of music, and student-centered learning.

In my professional journey, I have previously worked with Muzigal and I am currently teaching at The Gaudium School in Hyderabad. These experiences have allowed me to work with a diverse group of students and refine my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and musical goals.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career has been preparing students for music certification exams. Several of my students have successfully appeared for examinations conducted by Trinity College London, and seeing them perform confidently and achieve their certifications has been a proud achievement for me as a teacher.

I conduct both online and offline classes and also provide training in contemporary music styles. My lessons are designed to build technical skills, rhythm awareness, and stage confidence. I aim to create a motivating and supportive learning environment where students can express their creativity and grow as confident musicians.
