How can I detect nested circles from an image using MATLAB?

Hough transform is initially designed for detecting lines. However, later on the algorithm is improved for detecting specific geometries such as circles. I believe you can find a circle detection implementation of the Hough transform at Matlab FileExchange.

How can I download MATLAB for free for MacBook?

MATLAB R2014b and later are fully supported on Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and 10.11 (El Capitan). We recommend you update to R2014b or later if you are using OS X 10.10 or later

Can you help install MATLAB on Ubuntu 16.04? Don't tell me to use Maxima or Octave.
