During my PhD tenure I had the opportunity of guiding certain students for lateral entry entrance examination in Berhampur, Orissa. Time left was just 4 months. Initially I refused but seeing their conviction I agreed and they did worked hard and finally we cracked the entrance. Of 35 students 10 scored within top 15 ranks. This achievement drove me into IIT JEE coaching. I guided 4 batches of students for IIT JEE / REC entrance for four years until I finished my PhD. Each batch had just 20 students. 2 succeeded in IIT of the 80 students and many through REC. After my PhD I entered into institutions as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Assoc Professor and finally Professor & Head. Teaching was a passion turned profession.
