I am Dr. Preeti Sehgal. I have done my graduation and post graduation from Holkar Science College. I have done my masters in Organic Chemistry. After successful completion of post graduation, I have started my research work in University of Delhi as a research scholar and completed Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil). My research was focused on flavonoids, their synthesis and biological activity as anti-cancer agent. During this tenure, my first research paper was published in International journal. Thereafter, I have started my career as a Lecturer in Engineering College. I worked as a Lecturer (Assistant professor) in Department of Applied Sciences in International College of Engineering where I achieved the Best Faculty Award. I am well experienced in administering both formative and summative evaluation. Thereafter, I pursued my Doctorate from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. During Ph.D, the research work was focused on the solar cell applications based on conducting polymers and their nanocomposites with inorganic semiconductors and quantum dots. During this tenure, 06 research papers were published in International journal with good impact factor. Apart from that, I am co author of a book chapter published in “Reviews in Fluorescence 2015” with Springer Publications. After completing my Ph.D I worked as a Research Associate for 3 years in DST sponsored project. During this journey I have got extensive experience of research as well as teaching.
