Poojith Ram Charan

In my spare time, I am an IBDP graduate who is studying undergrad in Economics, specializing in Behavioral Economics. I have taken Higher Level Economics, Psychology and English Language & Literature as well as Computer Science SL, Mathematics AI SL and French Ab Initio. This pairing has helped me to build excellent analytical, quantitative and communication skills and gained a good understanding of how people make decisions in economic situations.

I have completed over 300 hours of CAS, with an equal amount of hours spent in each of the CAS components. I have been involved in Model United Nations conferences, organising and leading MUN, fundraising, blogging about sustainability, raising awareness about mental health, and community donation drives at Wharton as well as in other schools. These activities have helped me to develop my leadership skills, initiative, and applied problem solving skills.

I have also previously acquired academic skills from IGCSE which have helped me to learn in a structured way. As tutor I aim to give IB students focused and specific subject advice to help them make the best possible progress and effectively complete the IB curriculum to include conceptual development and assessment in their learning.
