I am Namita Shrivastava, a Mathematics educator with 10 years of teaching experience, helping students from Class 1 to Class 10 develop strong mathematical foundations and achieve academic success. Over the years, I have worked with students of different learning abilities and academic backgrounds, guiding them toward a better understanding of Mathematics through personalized attention and effective teaching strategies. My goal is to make Mathematics simple, enjoyable, and accessible for every student.
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree and have completed both B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science. My technical and academic background has equipped me with strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, which I incorporate into my teaching. The structured thinking developed through engineering studies enables me to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, systematic, and easy-to-understand manner, helping students grasp even challenging topics with confidence.
During my 10 years of teaching experience, I have successfully helped numerous students improve their conceptual understanding, problem-solving abilities, and examination performance. I believe that every student has the potential to excel when taught using methods that suit their individual learning style. My focus has always been on strengthening the fundamentals because a solid foundation allows students to confidently handle more advanced mathematical concepts as they progress through higher classes.
My teaching philosophy centers around conceptual clarity rather than rote memorization. I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind formulas, methods, and solutions so they can apply their knowledge effectively in different situations. By simplifying complex topics and breaking them into manageable steps, I help students develop confidence and reduce the fear that many learners associate with Mathematics. This approach also improves their analytical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
I follow a structured lesson plan that ensures systematic coverage of the syllabus while allowing flexibility to address each student’s specific learning needs. My classes are interactive and student-focused, encouraging learners to actively participate, ask questions, and engage in discussions. I explain concepts through step-by-step examples and guided practice, ensuring that students understand each topic thoroughly before moving on to the next level.
I conduct both online and offline classes and make effective use of PPT presentations and digital whiteboards to create an engaging learning experience. Visual explanations, illustrations, and practice exercises help students understand concepts more clearly and retain them for longer periods. Regular assignments, worksheets, and assessments are incorporated into my teaching process to monitor progress, reinforce learning, and identify areas where additional support may be required.
My ultimate objective as a teacher is to help students develop confidence, accuracy, and a positive attitude toward Mathematics. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their doubts and exploring new concepts.
