I have been teaching LLB students for over 11 years now, focusing on core subjects like Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, and other essential areas within the legal studies curriculum. My journey in the field of legal education started after completing my LLB and Master of Laws (LL.M.), which laid the foundation for my understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of law.

Early in my career, I began practicing as an advocate, where I gained hands-on experience in courtrooms. This exposure to the functioning of the legal system gave me a unique perspective that I now bring into the classroom. After a few years in practice, I transitioned into academia and started teaching at law colleges. The move allowed me to combine my passion for law with my inclination towards mentoring.

For the last five years, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at a reputed law college. My responsibilities extend beyond teaching — I help design course content, guide students through research work, and support them in building critical and analytical skills that are crucial for any legal professional. My students appreciate the clarity with which I break down complex legal theories and explain their real-world relevance.

My teaching style is structured, yet flexible. I always follow a planned lesson format that aligns with the academic syllabus but also make room for in-depth discussions and questions from students. I believe that law cannot be learned through rote memorization — it needs to be understood through practical examples. Hence, I make extensive use of relevant case laws, recent judgments, and real-life scenarios to explain legal principles.

Classes are interactive by design. I encourage students to analyze situations, ask questions, and form independent legal opinions. This not only prepares them for exams but also molds them into critical thinkers and confident professionals ready to face the real world. I use a whiteboard for visual explanation, which helps in simplifying intricate topics and keeping the sessions engaging.

Teaching legal studies is not just a profession for me — it's a responsibility I take seriously. I strive to be a mentor who can guide students not just through their coursework, but also in their journey to become ethical, knowledgeable, and capable members of the legal fraternity.
