Lasya

Sri Lasya is a passionate and dedicated Nutrition and Dietetics graduate with a Bachelor’s from Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences, Bangalore, and a Master’s in Applied Nutrition from the prestigious ICMR - National Institute of Nutrition. She has successfully completed internships at Wootu Nutrition Clinic (Chennai), Yashoda Hospitals (Hyderabad), and CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (Hyderabad), where she gained practical experience in clinical dietetics, nutritional assessment, dietary counselling, therapeutic meal planning, and research-based applications of nutrition science.

Her research training at CSIR–IICT involved molecular biology techniques including RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, RT-qPCR, Western blotting, SDS-PAGE, and cell culture, giving her a strong foundation in laboratory-based nutritional research.

Alongside her academic and research journey, Sri Lasya is also deeply committed to mentoring. She has actively guided and tutored aspiring students, especially those preparing to join nutrition-related programs such as the M.Sc. in Applied Nutrition at NIN. Her ability to simplify complex concepts, provide academic support, and motivate students has made her a trusted mentor among peers and juniors.

She combines a solid scientific background with hands-on skills, a deep sense of empathy, and a strong passion for mentoring and public health nutrition.
