Hello! I’m Lakshmi Devi, a passionate and dedicated Kannada language teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching students from Class 1 to 8 in the CBSE curriculum. I specialize in making the Kannada language approachable and enjoyable for young learners, helping them build a solid foundation in reading, writing, and comprehension.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA), a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and a Master of Arts (MA). These qualifications have given me a deep understanding of both the Kannada language and the best pedagogical practices to make learning more meaningful and effective for students of various age groups.

My teaching approach is focused on developing fluency and confidence in Kannada through structured lessons, grammar practice, and interactive storytelling. I place special emphasis on tailoring my lessons to each student’s unique learning pace and style, ensuring they not only grasp the concepts but also enjoy the learning process.

One of the most rewarding experiences in my teaching journey has been helping a 2nd standard student, who initially struggled with the basics of Kannada, rise to become 1st rank in their class. This achievement highlights my commitment to student success and my ability to adapt and personalize my teaching to bring out the best in every learner.

I prefer conducting online individual classes, as they allow me to give undivided attention to each student and create a comfortable space for them to express themselves and ask questions freely. I focus on making the sessions interactive, encouraging active participation and discussion to boost language confidence.

To make learning more engaging, I incorporate PowerPoint presentations, customized activities, and visual tools. I also design unique teaching formats and methods based on the student’s needs, which helps maintain their interest and ensures better retention of language skills.

Additionally, I provide worksheets and practice materials that reinforce what is taught during the sessions. These resources help students revise and strengthen their understanding of Kannada outside the classroom, supporting continuous and effective learning.
