I have been teaching Veena for the past 30 years and feel truly blessed to have shared this beautiful art form with students of all ages. My journey with the Veena began with a deep passion for classical music, which led me to pursue a 6-year Diploma in Veena from a government-recognized institution. Over the years, this passion has only grown stronger, and I have dedicated myself wholeheartedly to training the next generation of Veena players.

Teaching the Veena is not just a profession for me—it is a calling. I have had the privilege of guiding many students, some of whom have gone on to perform on stage, take part in cultural competitions, and even pursue music more seriously. It brings me immense joy to watch my students gain confidence and grace in their playing, and I feel proud to contribute to keeping our classical music heritage alive.

In addition to teaching, I actively participate in cultural events and Veena competitions. My performances have been recognized with several awards and certificates over the years. These accolades motivate me to continue spreading the joy and richness of classical music. Whether it’s through my own playing or through my students’ performances, I believe that music has the power to uplift, inspire, and connect us.

Currently, I conduct online Veena classes, which allows me to reach students across different locations. My sessions are customized to suit the age, pace, and skill level of each learner. Whether a student is just starting or looking to improve advanced techniques, I ensure they receive individual attention and guidance tailored to their growth.

While I don’t directly provide certification, I support and mentor students who wish to appear for formal music exams through recognized institutions. I help them prepare with the right training, structured syllabus coverage, and sufficient practice, so they feel confident and well-prepared for assessments and performances.

Teaching Veena has been a lifelong journey filled with learning, sharing, and joy. I consider every class an opportunity to nurture a love for music and to guide my students toward discipline, expression, and appreciation for our rich musical traditions.
