I have been teaching Carnatic vocal music for over 25 years, and music has always been the heart of my life. Training students and helping them discover their voice has been an immensely rewarding journey. I teach learners of all ages and levels, guiding them from basic lessons to advanced performance techniques.

I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Music. Along with these qualifications, I have completed my PhD in Music, which has deepened my understanding of Carnatic tradition, theory, and performance. These academic achievements strengthen my teaching and allow me to approach music both artistically and analytically.

Throughout my 25-year teaching career, I have had the privilege of guiding many students who have gone on to perform confidently in concerts and competitions. Watching their growth and transformation gives me great joy. My experience with diverse learners has shaped my ability to teach with patience, clarity, and precision.

I conduct online classes that offer flexibility while maintaining the same level of quality and personal attention. Each lesson is carefully planned to ensure students progress steadily, understand the nuances of ragas, talas, and compositions, and develop their musical expression.

My methodology balances theory with practical training. I follow a structured yet flexible approach, tailored to each learner’s pace and capability. Classes include voice training, swara exercises, compositions, improvisation, and theoretical insights that give students a complete understanding of Carnatic music.

I also guide students preparing for music examinations and certifications. Many of them have successfully completed different graded levels under my mentorship, earning recognition for their efforts and discipline. I take pride in supporting students on their musical journey, whether for hobby, passion, or professional growth.

My goal is to help every learner develop a deep connection with music, strengthen their technique, and perform with confidence and devotion, staying true to the rich tradition of Carnatic classical music.
