IdentityI am a passionate and dedicated special educator with over nine years of experience. I hold a BSc in psychology, a BEd in special education for intellectual disability, and a diploma in special education for mental retardation. My interest in special education began early in my life, as my uncle was a special educator and a dentist. His work greatly inspired me to pursue a career in special education.
I started as a special educator in 2013, working for an NGO for two years. I then went on to work as a resource person for the Telangana Samaksha Skisha department. Over the years, I have worked as a part-time special educator, making home visits to areas such as Kollur, Kukatpally, KPHB, Chellapur, and Medhipattnam. I have also had the privilege of running my clinic in the Visharabad district, where many students attended my sessions. I am working on opening a new centre for special education in Gopanpally. I am excited about this unique opportunity to help more students reach their full potential. I also hold a certificate from the Home Rehabilitation Council of India RCI and a CRE Continuing Rehabilitation Education certification course.
My teaching experience covers a range of special education needs, including Autism, Behavioral Disability, Learning Disability, Slow Learners, AD/HD, Speech Impairment, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome. I provide notes per the ABA and Montessori teaching methods to support my students' learning. I use a play-way teaching method and apply both Montessori and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approaches. I aim to ensure that all my students have access to a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages their growth and development.
