I have teaching experience with primary school students, particularly in Mathematics and English for Classes I–V. I have worked as a Math Instructor at Kumon, where I gained hands-on experience teaching children with different learning levels, abilities, and learning speeds. My role involved helping students build strong foundational concepts, improve their calculation and problem-solving skills, and develop confidence in Mathematics. I have also worked with children on English fundamentals, including reading, phonics, vocabulary, spelling, sentence formation, grammar, and basic comprehension. I focus on making concepts simple and easy to understand rather than relying only on memorization. I use examples, guided practice, repetition, and age-appropriate exercises to help children understand and retain concepts. My teaching approach is patient and student-focused. I observe where a child is struggling and adjust my explanation and pace accordingly. I believe that students in Classes I–V learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning. Through my experience, I have developed strong skills in classroom interaction, explaining concepts clearly, identifying learning gaps, and encouraging children to become more independent learners. I aim to make learning engaging while ensuring that students develop a strong academic foundation in Mathematics and English.
