What is the importance of pointers? People stress more on them. Why they are useful actually what is their importance?

Most important use of pointer is in continuous allocation or reference of memory location. Useful in directly pointing the memory location and its value. For better understanding uses and importance of pointer, you need to understand it type and uses i.e. near pointers far pointer and void pointers
