Or
Select Utilities tool from the Home tab, use the drop down menu to select Area tool, and come back to your object, select it, you see green selected space which gives you the area.

1) Drawing Purpose - Line, Polyline, Polygon, Arc, Rectangle, Circle, Arc
2) Modify (Drawing) Purpose - Fillet, Trim, Extend, Offset, Mirror, Offset, Mirror, Erase, Hatch
